Grovtre makes tables and desks from solid boards, not veneered panels. The workshop buys standing timber from certified European forestry, air-dries it for two winters and finishes with hardwax oil, so a scratch can be spot-repaired rather than resurfaced.
Tops are through-tenoned into their legs and can be taken apart flat, which is the difference between a table that moves house and a table that gets left behind.

The Fold Extendable Table combines everyday practicality with refined Scandinavian design. Featuring softly rounded ends and clean, tapered legs, this versatile piece extends from a compact 180 cm to a generous 240 cm with the integrated leaf system. Constructed from oiled oak in a warm oatmeal tone, the table seats six in its standard configuration and up to eight when extended. The smooth-glide extension mechanism operates effortlessly, making it ideal for both daily use and larger gatherings. Brushed brass leg caps provide elegant finishing details.
