Grovtre makes tables and desks from solid boards, not veneered panels. The workshop buys standing timber from certified European forestry, air-dries it for two winters and finishes with hardwax oil, so a scratch can be spot-repaired rather than resurfaced.
Tops are through-tenoned into their legs and can be taken apart flat, which is the difference between a table that moves house and a table that gets left behind.
Description / Nook Side Table
A slim side table that tucks beside a chair without crowding it. The 38cm round top sits on four tapered legs splayed just enough to stay put on a rug, and the underside is finished to the same standard as the top for the times it gets moved mid-room.
Choose oiled oak, sage-painted ash or a charcoal stain. Dimensions: 38Ø x 52 cm.
