Nordhem has built upholstered furniture in Jämtland since 1948, starting with dining chairs for the region's school canteens. The workshop still sits on the same site, and still makes frames from local pine and birch.
Every seat is built around a jointed hardwood frame rather than a stapled one, which is what makes the covers worth replacing: Nordhem stocks replacement covers for ten years after a model leaves the catalogue, and will re-web a frame at any point in its life.
Description / Meridian Modular Sofa
The Meridian Modular Sofa embodies Koti's philosophy of thoughtful, adaptable design. This collection allows you to configure your perfect seating arrangement—combine a 2-seat with an ottoman for intimate spaces, pair a 3-seat with a corner module for generous entertaining areas, or create your own bespoke layout.
Each piece is upholstered in sumptuous bouclé fabric, chosen for its tactile warmth and enduring character. The signature oiled oak legs, gently tapered in retro-modern style, provide visual lightness and natural beauty. Available in three carefully curated colourways—soft Cream, earthy Sage, and sophisticated Charcoal—the Meridian collection adapts to your space and evolves with your needs. This is furniture designed for life as it is lived: comfortable, beautiful, and endlessly configurable.
