Grovtre makes tables and desks from solid boards, not veneered panels. The workshop buys standing timber from certified European forestry, air-dries it for two winters and finishes with hardwax oil, so a scratch can be spot-repaired rather than resurfaced.
Tops are through-tenoned into their legs and can be taken apart flat, which is the difference between a table that moves house and a table that gets left behind.
Description / Fold Wall Desk
The Fold Wall Desk offers a clever solution for compact living without compromising on Nordic design principles. When deployed, the 90×50 cm oiled walnut work surface provides ample space for a laptop and notebook.
Fold it away to reveal a streamlined wall panel just 10 cm deep. Internal compartments keep supplies organised and hidden, whilst integrated cable routing ensures devices remain charged and ready. Brushed brass hinges and catches add a refined finishing touch to this space-saving marvel.
