Grovtre makes tables and desks from solid boards, not veneered panels. The workshop buys standing timber from certified European forestry, air-dries it for two winters and finishes with hardwax oil, so a scratch can be spot-repaired rather than resurfaced.
Tops are through-tenoned into their legs and can be taken apart flat, which is the difference between a table that moves house and a table that gets left behind.
Description / Skriva Writing Desk
The Skriva Writing Desk celebrates the beauty of simplicity with its minimal Scandinavian profile. The 120×60 cm oiled oak surface provides a focused workspace without unnecessary distractions.
A slim central drawer with a brushed brass pull offers discreet storage for writing instruments and notepads. The slender matte black metal legs create an airy silhouette, whilst a rear cable port maintains a clutter-free aesthetic. Perfect for thoughtful correspondence and concentrated work.
